The Gen V LT engine is a robust engine and offers a ton of benefits over its Gen 3 or 4 LS predecessors. From better flowing heads, bigger head bolts, to better factory performing bottom end components and more!
However, in a purely race oriented platform the DI or Direct Injection offers very little to no performance gains and causes substantial complexity in tuning and fuel delivery. Â
These plugs plug the holes in the combustion chamber where the factory injectors would go. They use the factory fuel rails to hold them in place. Using a pair of factory seals to seal in the head, these are a quick and easy solution. Â
Pair with this component to plug the oil galley in the original factory mechanical fuel bore and you are ready to run a Gen V engine like an LS3.
