9/16-26 spline shafts are commonly seen on Pinto Steering Racks, Flaming River Steering racks, and others.  This shaft adapts from 9/16-26 to the very common 3/4" Round shaft used in lightweight intermediate shafts (the steering linkage shaft between the column and the steering rack).
